JAMMU, Jan 7: In order to help the students in dire need of free notebooks, bags, school uniforms and water bottles, Teachers Welfare Association (TWA) launched “Education Langar Sewa” here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Jasmeet Singh Madaan, president TWA said, “We celebrate our birthdays, anniversaries, functions and solemnised our rituals as per our religious ways. Similarly on this pattern, under this Sewa today we have donated all these items to the needy students.”
Singh also appealed to other to be a part of this Sewa by just donating one pencil, sharpner, eraser, copy or water bottles for these students in their vicinity, neighborhood or school adjoining to their homes.
“Kindly feel free to suggest us that whether we are going in the right direction to serve humanity. One thing which is very particular in this Sewa is that TWA will not accept any cash in this Sewa,” said TWA president.
