KISHTWAR, Nov 6: A driver was killed, when the truck he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Soti, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandoh police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number PBO6G-2456 was on its way from Jugasar to Gandoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Soti, resulting into on the spot death of the driver.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot, retrieved the body of the driver from the gorge and shifted it to hospital for postmortem.
The deceased has been identified as Mulkh Raj of Gurdaspur, Punjab.
A case has been registered in this regard at police station Gandoh and investigation started.
