SAMBA, Feb 5: A truck carrying husk overturned at SIDCO Chowk on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway today morning.
As per available information, the truck, which was travelling from Amritsar towards Samba, lost control and flipped over when it reached the busy junction.
Fortunately, four people, including the driver, were safely rescued by locals and the police, without any injuries.
The accident caused traffic disruptions as the overturned truck blocked the main road.
However, with the quick response of traffic police, the road was cleared, and traffic was restored.
The one-way road leading to the industrial units was temporarily closed but was later reopened.
