KATHUA, June 2: The Forest Department team seized a truck loaded with mixed– timber logs and firewood in Dinga Amb area under Jasrota Forest Range of Kathua Forest Division last night.
Official sources said that a Forest team of Block Rajwalta, Range Jasrota in Kathua Forest Division headed by Block Officer Rajwalta Narinder Singh seized truck bearing registration No. JK02AK-6535 at Dasanu (Anjala), near Dinga Amb, loaded with mixed firewood/timber logs and moving without any legal documents.
The case has been booked at Jasrota Range for violation of provisions of Indian Forest Act 1927. The seizure was made under the guidance of Munish Gupta, Range Officer Jasrota.
