SAMBA, Jan 20: A conductor allegedly attempted to commits suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in his truck parked near SIDCO Chowk area of Bari Brahmana here today, police sources said.
The victim was identified as Gurwinder Singh, a resident of Bathinda Punjab. He was initially rushed to Aum Hospital and later shifted to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
Bari Brahmana Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
