JAMMU, July 15: Senior Congress leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony here today led a delegation of Ward No. 54 (Trikuta Nagar) residents to meet Dr. Devansh Yadav, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
The delegation also submitted a memorandum to Dr. Yadav containing issues of their area which included shortage of drinking water and non-functional high mast lights in public parks.
Tony apprised the JMC Commissioner that residents of Ward 54 are being forced to purchase private water tankers due to insufficient water supply in the area.
The deputation demanded that the JMC should install a new tube-well to address the issue.

The JMC Commissioner assured the delegation that the matter would be taken up with the concerned engineering and electrical wings of JMC and necessary action will be initiated at the earliest.
The deputation comprised Narinder Sharma, O.P Sharma, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Dr. Manjit Arora, Parmod Sabarwal and Ramnik Dubey.
