Trikuta Nagar residents concerned over increasing theft cases

JAMMU, Oct 17: A meeting of Trikuta Nagar Colony residents was held here today where the members expressed concern over the increasing theft cases in Trikuta Nagar during the last three days.
They claimed that the concerned authorities failed to give them a proper response in this regard.
Speakers in the meeting demanded some app for the registration of FIRs and issuance of a copy of the same to the complaint with sufficient proof of CCTV footage so that the victims can make claim of the loss from the insurance company.
“The innocent and law abiding citizens should feel free and friendly with the Police of J&K UT,” they said adding: “The Police should increase its network of sources in plain clothes to check the movement of criminals, thieves, drug abusers and other such elements especially in the isolated lanes of Trikuta Nagar for the safety and security of the residents.”
Those who addressed the meeting included Neeraj Puri, former JMC Councillor, R.K Kakroo, Vijay Gupta, Advocate Harshvardhan Gupta and Ramneek Dubey. The meeting chaired by Rajinder P. Kakkar, president Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society.
