KATHUA, Jan 19: In a function organized by BJP here today glowing tribute were paid to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R Ambedkar.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua and Kuldeep Raj former MLA Hiranagar presided over the function.
Gopal Mahajan, District president; Prem Nath Dogra, former District president; Dr. Narinder Jasrotia, former president of Municipal Committee Lakhanpur, Ravinder Sharma and Kaka Ram, former president Municipal Committee Nagri; Anil Singh Andotra, vice president; Vinod Kumar, District president SC Morcha, Dev Raj, secretary Rashtriya Mahila Morcha, Rekha Kumari, senior BJP leader, Indu Rekha, Ravi Andotra, Mandal Pradhans Rahul Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Suman Devi, Chatter Singh, Dilawar Singh, Pawan Kumar and other functionaries were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua in his address paid glowing tribute to Dr. B.R Ambedkar who framed our Constitution.
He said that our Constitution provides equal opportunities to every Indian and all are equal in this country.
Former MLA Hiranagar, Kuldeep Raj emphasized the need for making people aware of the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar to make India strong and a vibrant nation.
