JAMMU, Jan 4: Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya, in collaboration with Adbi Kunj J&K here organised a grand musical evening ‘Ek Shaam Mohammad Rafi Ke Naam’ to pay tribute to the legendary playback singer Mohammad Rafi.
The programme was organized under the leadership of Kuldeep Kumar, Managing Director, Arohi Production and Founder of Mohammad Rafi Fan Club, Jammu.
The event was graced by Dr. Urja Singh, renowned culture and social activist, as chief guest.
The special guest was Komal Kapoor, well-known social activist from Jammu.
Other eminent guests were Vikramjeet Singh, Sajid Khan, Dy.SP, J&K Police (Traffic), Sohan Lal, Senior Coordinator, Shaurya International School, Kewal Sudan, Managing Director, Vector Study Centre, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, Ashutosh Sharma, Classical Music Guru, J&K, Dharmesh Nargotra, Ajay Khanna, Mamta, Shallu Singh, MD Vishwkarma Charitable Trust Paramjeet Kour, Noureena Butt and Om Dalmotra, president, Adbi Kunj.
The programme featured soulful performances by a diverse group of talented singers who recreated Mohammad Rafi’s timeless songs.
The performing artists were Anmol Kumar, Hazik Haq, Divyanshi, Aditya Sabarwal, Rinku Kailash, Subhash Chander, Amit Bhawra, Pardeep Kumar, Imtiyaz Ali and Kshitij.
Special performers were Ashish Rajput, Saxophone player, Deepak Raghuvanshi, Rishab Dorjee, Ravi Raghuvanshi, Atul Pandita, Pinna Kumari and Stanzin Barie.
The programme was hosted by Atul Pandita, popular RJ from Top FM, Jammu.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Kuldeep Kumar, MD, Arohi Production and the chief organizer of the programme.
