POONCH: A training to 158 Booth Level Officer (BLOs) of 87-Haveli Assembly Constituency has been imparted and held under the supervision of Tariq Ahmed Zargar, District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Poonch.
Others who took part in imparting training to BLOs are Narinder Singh, District Informatics Officer Poonch and Ghulam Rasool Haider, Election Assistant regarding ERONET which have been launched by Election Commission of India. On the occasion Booth Level Officers have been trained filling of form No. 6 (addition) form No 7 (Deletion) form No. 8 (correction) and form no. 8A (transposition within Constituency) through ERONET as well as NVSP portal to use the practice during Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01-01-2018 as qualifying date. BLOs have also been trained to remove duplicates of Electors and uploading the best quality photographs in Electoral Roll. During Hands-on training as much as 24 forms of addition (form No. 6) has been uploaded by BLOs successfully.
District Election Officer, Tariq Ahmed Zargar, has directed the Booth Level officers to give wide publicity in 14 newly created Polling Stations which have been approved recently by Election Commission of India and changes of two polling stations locations in 87-Haveli Assembly Constituency.
