Training programme for IFS officers begins at SMVDU

KATRA, June 22: Five-day training programme on ‘Embedding Managerial Excellence’ for IFS Officers at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, was inaugurated by Prof Sudhir K Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU.
The programme is being organized by Faculty of Management with the financial support from Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India. During the inaugural address, Prof  Jain emphasized on the critical relevance of the theme of the training programme in the present competitive era of uncertainty and dynamic change.
Programme coordinator appreciated the regular support of Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate change, GoI to SMVDU during past few years for having the belief in conduction of such kind of training programs for IFS officers.
Earlier, during the function, Director, School of Business introduced  the aim of the training programme to the participants.
Organizing sectary of the programme, underlined that it will provide an opportunity to the participants to practice new managerial skills that can contribute significantly in embedding sustainable managerial excellence in the organizations.
The training programme will comprise of various interactive sessions which will be taken by resource persons. The participants of the programme belong to different parts of the country including Telangana, Haryana, Jharkhand, UP, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pardesh, Assam, Nagaland, etc.
The resource persons for the event, include Brig  (Retd ) K S Chauhan, HR Head Cadila Pharma, Samba, Major General (Retd.) Dhir, Prof  N D  Mathur, University of Rajasthan, Dr  Anjali Nigam, Dr  Ajit Nigam and others.
