UDHAMPUR, Sept 26: The three-day training course on “Courtesy and Behaviour” for officials of J&K Police Airport Security concluded today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur.
The course was aimed at equipping airport security personnel with essential behavioural skills to ensure better interaction with passengers, smooth coordination with stakeholders, and the maintenance of high security standards.
At the valedictory function, SSP and Deputy Director (Indoor/Trainings) Rajinder Kumar Gupta was the Chief Guest.
In his address, Gupta highlighted the importance of courtesy, discipline, and professional conduct in strengthening passenger-friendly policing at airports.
He said that the image of the police is shaped not only by their efficiency in duties but also by the way they deal with the public on a daily basis.
Certificates of participation were distributed among the trainees, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their professional skills.
They assured that the learning from the training would be applied in their routine assignments.
The programme was coordinated by Senior Prosecuting Officer Amit Parkash Sehgal, with support from ASI Parshotam Singh of the academy faculty.
