JAMMU, Dec 21: Depart-ment of Agriculture Jammu organized training camp of Women Food Security Group (WFSG) was held at Panchayat Marh, Zone Nagrota under the chairmanship of NK Dubey, Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu.
A total of 25 women attended the training camp.
The experts from Agriculture Department delivered lectures on different topics like mushroom cultivation, bee keeping and vegetable cultivation.
Deputy Project Director BB Sidha gave a detailed overview of the formation of Food Security Group of women and need of establishing the same in the different blocks of the district.
Deputy Project Director Ravinder Kachroo also spoke on the occasion, while Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Vinod Khajuria gave the details of different schemes which are going on in the Sub-Division.
The camp was attended by Sanjay Raina SMS, SK Munshi ATMA, AEO Nagrota Raghubir Chand Antahal, JAEO Nagrota-A Rajinder Sharma, JAEO Darabi Neeraj Sharma, AEA Nagrota IP Singh Tegh, AEA Umesh Khajuria, AEA Jaspreet Singh, AEA Amit Dubey, AEA Sunil Sathu and AEA Sukhvinder Singh.
