How public money is wasted by ill planning and defective policies can be seen by the condition of the traffic lights on the streets in Jammu not to speak of those in the summer capital.Except the ones at Tawi Chowk and a few in Gandhi Nagar areas, rest of the lights are non operative. it appears that there is no proper accountability from those who were or are in charge of the system. It is also evident that proper after sales or installation services from the providers or suppliers are not arranged. How much are these lights important for a city like Jammu needs hardly any details looking to the traffic rush and mess . Will someone in the Government look into the problem?
