JAMMU, July 5: The traffic on Jammu-Poonch highway was disrupted for about three hours due to landslide in Kalidhar area of Akhnoor sector today.
Reports said due to rain in Kalidhar Range last night, landslide hit the road in Chowkichora area on Akhnoor- Bhamla stretch of the National Highway 144-A on Saturday morning. The movement of vehicles was stalled on the busy road for about three hours. A long traffic jam was created on both sides of the road. The commuters had to face a lot of trouble in reaching their destinations.
The National Highway authorities then pressed two JCBs for road clearance work and the traffic was restored on the road.
