REASI, June 22: To create awareness amongst the motorcycle riders and commuters, police launched traffic aware drive for their welfare and smooth running, today.
Police team headed by Amod Ashok Nagpure, SHO Police Station Reasi under the supervision of Mohan Lal under the guidance of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi made aware to the commuters and riders the steps for smooth running on the road.
The team guided the pillion riders and made them aware about the benefits of wearing of head gears while driving, advised them to follow traffic rules, avoid rash driving and not to drive after using alcohol.
Apart from this commuters who carrying all the documents and respect the traffic rules were felicitated by giving them flowers as a token of appreciation.
The step taken by the District Police, Reasi have been lauded with great applause by the locals and desired these programmes shall remain continue so that the young generation shall be restricted for rash driving or drive without helmets.
