JAMMU, Oct 14: A trader from Karan Nagar locality was allegedly robbed by two unidentified persons near his home in the early hours of October 13.
According to police, the complainant, Parshotam Kumar, a resident of Karan Nagar and a wholesale trader at Narwal Sabzi Mandi, reported that two men stopped him near Jambu Lochan Park around 4:15 AM and looted Rs 1.18 lakh in cash, a gold chain weighing about 29 grams, and his mobile phone.
The accused, armed with sharp weapons, also took away his Activa scooty (registration number JK02CR-0410), which was later recovered near a newspaper office.
Acting on his written complaint, Police Station Pacca Danga have registered a case FIR number 119/2025 under sections 309/351/126(2)/3(5)/BNS, 4/25 Arms Act and started further investigation into the matter.
