SUCHETGARH, Nov 6: Flaying the Government for banning employees in J&K from holding protests, Taranjit Singh Tony, general secretary of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and DDC Member Suchetgarh termed the move as against the principles of natural justice and fundamental rights.
He was speaking after inaugurating the road blacktopping work in Suchetgarh.
Tony said that Government’s attempt to silence its employees is a reflection of its authoritarian mindset and its intolerance of dissent.
He also said that Government’s order banning employees’ protest is a direct attack on the democratic fabric of India.
Tony appealed to all the people to root out BJP through their vote power in 2024 general elections.
“This is not the India for which our freedom fighters fought,” Tony said adding that BJP led Government must be shown doors to save autonomous and independent institutions of India.
