JAMMU, Dec 6: The members of senior citizens Rejuvenation Centre and Trikuta Nagar Development Council (TNDC) celebrated the Annual Day of SCRC at Amar Singh Club here today.
R S Jamwal Joint Commissioner JMC and Ashwani Kumar Station Superintendent Railway Station Jammu were the chief guests.
The function started with welcome address by Bal Krishan Gupta president SCRC and TNDC. He explained in detail the day today functioning of senior citizens Rejuvenation Centre and its achievements since its inception. He also highlighted the general problems faced by the residents of the Trikuta Nagar With respect to cleanliness, repair of lanes, drains etc.
Mr Gupta appealed the Station Superintendent to provide priority in railway ticket reservation booking and wheel chair facility from parking place to respective platform for senior citizens.
On the occasion the chief guests were also honoured. Ashok Kalsotra general secretary SCRC, P N Jalla, SC Verma, chief patron TNDC and Vijay Aggarwal, patron TNDC also spoke on the occasion.
Station Superintendent assured full cooperation for providing priority in railway ticket reservation bookings and other facilities while Joint Commissioner JMC assured that genuine problems will be solved on priority basis.
