JAMMU, May 19: To show solidarity with Indian Armed forces and their success in Operation Sindoor, Tiranga rallies were taken out in various areas of Kashmir Valley and Jammu today.
In a remarkable show of patriotic fervor, a massive celebration was held at Lal Chowk Anantnag in South Kashmir today for success of Operation Sindoor, a recent strategic operation conducted by India against Pakistan.

Earlier hundreds of BJP activists took out a Tiranga rally in the town shouting slogans against Pakistan.
They all praised for Indian Army and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his mature and far sighted leadership.
The rally was led by district president, BJP Rakesh Kaul and senior party leaders, Altaf Thakur, Sofi Yousf and Rafiq Mir also addressed it. They warned Pakistan not to play with the sentiments of Kashmiri people and in case it does not stop cross border terrorism it will face a Waterloo in future.
Expressing unwavering support and solidarity with the Indian Army following its commendable success in Operation Sindoor, BJP leaders and party workers organized a Tiranga Rally at district Headquarters Town Ramban on Monday.
The Tiranga rally was led by former MLA and district president, BJP Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh and other prominent local leaders, workers of the party witnessed enthusiastic participation.
A large number of residents, youth, and civil society members also participated in the Tiranga rally.
Waving the National Flag and chanting patriotic slogans, the participants lauded the bravery, sacrifice, and commitment of the Indian Army.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers and participants reiterated that the people of Ramban stand firmly with the Indian Army in every fight to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
In a vibrant celebration of patriotism and national pride, the Office of the Dean Students Welfare in collaboration with the Department of National Security Studies, Central University of Jammu organised a vibrant Tiranga rally in the campus today.
The event was held under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof Sanjeev Jain who led the rally with great enthusiasm. The event saw enthusiastic participation of students, faculty members and administrative staff who marched with Indian Tricolours in their hands from the University premises to its main gate. The rally marked the chanting of nationalistic slogans and a display of collective pride aimed to reinforce the values of unity, diversity and Constitutional ethos.
Vice Chancellor in his address stressed the importance of fostering patriotism and social responsibility among the youth.
