Jammu, July 10: Tiger Division under aegis of Rising Star Corps in coordination with Director Health Services, Jammu has established 25 bedded Oxygen Care Centre at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Gangyal, Jammu today.
This initiative is aimed to cater for Oxygen therapy and care for COVID as well as other patients of this region. Brig NR Pandey, Commander and Dr. Renu Sharma, Director Health Services, Jammu inaugurated the newly established Oxygen Care Centre in presence of Baldev Singh, civil and military dignitaries and hospital staff.
In her address, the Director Health Services appreciated the efforts of Tiger Division specially the Tiger Artillery Brigade for setting up this entire Oxygen Care Centre along with the staff of Health Department, J&K in a record time at the hour of need. She also appreciated the whole hearted contribution of Baldev Singh Baloria for administrative support.
While addressing the audience, Brig NR Pandey said that the newly established 25 bedded Oxygen care facility at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Gangyal, Jammu will be in value addition to the existing infrastructure and increasing health care facilities to local population.
The Indian Army has undertaken numerous humanitarian activities during the COVID pandemic by providing essential medical assistance and care to local populace.
