JAMMU, May 23: Nehru Market police nabbed three vehicle lifters and recovered stolen bike from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Nehru Market police post laid a naka at Bikram Chowk and signaled a Splendor motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BB-5073 to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, the rider accelerated the vehicle and tried to escape from the spot, but the cops chased and intercepted the bikers.
During questioning, it came to fore that the bikers had stolen the motorcycle from Miran Sahib area and police arrested them accordingly.
The accused have been identified as Neeraj Kumar and Ajay Kumar, both residents of RS Pura and Manmeet Singh of Miran Sahib.
A case stands registered against them at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Nehru Market police post, SI Balram Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South ,Shaazad Salaria.
