VIJAYPUR, Oct 28: Three new training courses – a one-month Basic Computer Course, a one-month Driving and Maintenance Course, and a two-week Refresher Course for Telecom Personnel – commenced today at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur.
A statement said around sixty police personnel from different units of the department are participating.
The courses were formally inaugurated by Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, who urged trainees to take keen interest in their training and maintain discipline throughout the session.
He said the computer and driving courses will help participants learn the latest techniques in operating and maintaining computer systems and vehicles, while the telecom refresher course will update them on modern communication technologies.
Senior officers of the institute, including the Vice Principal, DySP (Indoor), DySP (Outdoor/Admn), and SrPO, were also present on the occasion.
