Udhampur, Aug 25: Authorities have suspended three employees of the Public Works Department (R&B), Ramnagar Division, after reports of embezzlement of funds meant for Samagra works surfaced.
As per an order, the action was taken following a communication from the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) Ramnagar, highlighting misappropriation of money from the division’s official account.
The suspended officials include Kushal Singh (Junior Assistant), Rahul Sharma (Junior Assistant), and Akhil Singh (MTS). All three have been attached to the office of the Superintending Engineer, PWD (R&B) Circle Doda–Kishtwar, pending further orders.
