JAMMU, Oct 3: Bus Stand Police arrested three more persons in mobile snatching case.
As per police sources, while investigation further a case registered FIR Number 63/2021 under Sections 341 and 382 IPC, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Mohita Sharma apprehended three more persons involved in the case.
The arrested persons were identified as Roshan Lal, son of Greeb Dass of Resham Garh Colony, District Jammu, Ganga Patre, son of Sita Ram of Orissa and Anwar Alam, son of Babu Ram of Bihar.
Stolen items including 7 mobile phones, 2 iron hammer and house breaking tool kit, 24 mobile covers, 1 jet motor of cooler, 6 USB, 6 bulbs, 3 meter cable wire, 2 fire extinguisher nosal, Samsung keypad without battery, 7 chargers, 2 earphones, 1 set top box and 1 dummy mobile phone were recovered.
It is pertinent to mention here that, team from Police Station Bus Stand worked out this case within 24 hours by arresting one of the accused, who was identified as Umesh Sawhney, son of Sunil Kumar of District Rajouri, at present Gurha Bakshi Nagar District Jammu.
Meanwhile, 2 more sections (34 and 379 IPC) were added to the existing ones in this case and further investigation is going on.
