JAMMU, Oct 26: Three persons of Gujjar community were killed in a road accident in Domana area of city outskirts, late last night.
According to a police official, an unknown truck trailer which was on its way from Akhnoor to Jammu hit a horse cart at Nagbani Morh on Jammu-Akhnoor Road at about 11 PM last night.
He said four persons including two minors were travelling on the cart out of which one namely Rafi was killed on the spot while three others namely Shahiya (50), Shameem (15) and Naseema (10) received serious injuries.
“All the injured were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Shahiya and Shameem expired after some time while Naseema was responding to the treatment”, the police official said, adding all the three dead bodies were shifted to their legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities.
He said a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and investigations started.
