JAMMU, Dec 26: A car carrying a family met with an accident near Bindu de Beda village on Samba-Mansar road, leaving three family members injured.
The incident occurred when a tipper collided head-on with the car, causing it to fall into a deep ditch.
Vivek Verma (42), a resident of Samba, along with his wife Malti Bala (39) and son Bhuvan Verma (13), were on their way to Patnitop for a picnic when the mishap happened.
Local residents rushed to the spot to provide aid and informed the police.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to the District Hospital Samba for treatment. Later, Vivek and Bhuvan Verma were referred to GMC Jammu for advanced medical care.
The police have registered a case, arrested the tipper driver and also initiated an investigation.
