Three held with heroin, cash in Domana

JAMMU, Feb 3: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested three drug peddlers in Domana area here and recovered 9.09 grams of heroin-like substance and over Rs 76,000 cash from their possession.
During naka checking at Nagbani Chowk in Domana, three individuals, identified as Amit Kesar of Marh, Gokul Singh of Aithem, and Daljeet Singh of Shekapeer, Marh, were found in possession of the 9.09 grams of the contraband and Rs 76,400 in cash suspected to be proceeds of drug trafficking, along with foil papers and burnt currency notes, a police official said.
Accordingly, they were arrested and booked in case FIR number 28/2026 under sections 8, 21, 22, and 29 of the NDPs Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up, he said.
The police official further said that a vehicle used in the transportation of the contraband has also been seized.
