Three held for theft

RAMBAN, Feb 7: Police here today arrested three persons involved in theft of ATM Card and iron bars.
Police sources informed that with this cops have solved two separate theft cases arresting the accused and recovering the stolen property from them.
They said that Mohamnad Sharief, son of Ghulam Nabi, resident of village Sawani, Tehsil and District Ramban lodged a complaint at Police Station Ramban that someone stole his ATM Card and withdrew Rs. 20,000 from his bank account.
Accordingly a case in FIR number 14 of 2025 under relevant sections of BNS was registered at Police Station Ramban after which cops made best possible efforts and arrested the accused Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Salam Din, resident of village Sundgali Maitra, Ramban.
In another case, Gool Police arrested two persons involved in stealing iron bars of a citizen.
Police acted swiftly on the complaint and with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footage, apprehended two suspects who during questioning confessed their involvement in the theft case.
Police said that Mohammad Ashraf, son of Abdul Rashid Lohar, resident of Jamslan, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi and Mohammad Shafi, resident of Ghagra Tata Pani, Gool were arrested.
They said that on their disclosures iron bars worth Rs. 50,000 were recovered by Gool Police.
Both the thieves were arrested vide case of FIR number 13 of 2025 under relevant sections of BNS registered at Police Station Gool.
