JAMMU, Sept 8: Cops at Police Station Satwari with the assistance of locals conducted a successful operation in Phallian Mandal area and held three hardcore criminals with illegal arms and ammunition.
Police recovered a Desi Katta along with 7 live cartridges from their possession.
The criminals were identified as Jagan Deep Singh, alias Ruble, son of Gurdeep Singh, resident of village Tinday, Tehsil RS Pura; Parshotam Choudhary, alias Posha, son of Shani Raj, resident of village Rathua, Goamanasha and Uplaksh Choudhary, alias Laksh, son of Romesh Kumar, resident of village Suryachack, Phallian Mandal.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused were wanted in three cases of Police Station Miran Sahib as well as other cases registered in different Police Stations of Jammu District.
