Three civilians injured in grenade attack

SRINAGAR: At least three persons were injured today in a grenade attack by militants in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The ultras hurled a grenade at security forces patrol party at Goriwan Chowk  in Bijbehara area of the south Kashmir district, causing injuries to at least three civilians, a police official said.
He said the injured have been rushed to a hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a hunt for the militants, the official said, adding further details are awaited. (agencies)
