JAMMU, Jan 20: The 671st birth anniversary of Shree Baba Lal Dayal Ji Maharaj was celebrated today with religious fervour and grandeur at the historic Lal Dwara Temple, Gali Lal Dwara, Jain Bazar, Jammu.
The sacred occasion witnessed the participation of thousands of devotees from different parts of Jammu, who gathered at the temple to pay their obeisance and seek blessings of Baba Lal Dayal Ji.

The celebrations had commenced yesterday at 9 am with the performance of a holy Yagya conducted by renowned priests. The Yagya concluded today at around 11 am with Purnahoti, marking the culmination of the religious rituals.
Early in the morning, hundreds of devotees participated in the Aarti, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. This was followed by a soulful Satsang, during which men and women enthusiastically danced to devotional bhajans in praise of Baba Lal Ji, reflecting their deep faith and devotion. Bhandara was also served to the devotees.
Speaking on the occasion, the temple priest highlighted the life, teachings and spiritual legacy of Baba Lal Dayal Ji Maharaj. He said that Baba Ji’s entire life was a source of inspiration and guidance for people from all walks of life. He also spoke about Baba Ji’s parents, Lala Bhola Ram and Krishna Devi, describing them as noble souls who encouraged Baba Lal Ji to dedicate himself to serving the poor, needy and suffering humanity.
The priest further said that Baba Lal Dayal Ji was drawn towards spiritualism at a very young age of just eight years and later went on to inspire thousands of people through his teachings and selfless service. Emphasizing the relevance of saints’ teachings in the present times, he said that society must learn from the lives of such great spiritual figures and mould itself accordingly to promote peace, harmony and brotherhood.
