JAMMU, Sept 2: Thieves today again tried to barge in a house in the Raina Colony at Satwari, where from they had fled away with cash, silver and gold ornaments from another house yesterday.
As per police sources, some unknown persons tried to barge into a house at Raina Colony in Satwari, here today, but could not steal the items kept inside the house.
The matter has been reported to Satwari police and investigations are set into motion.
If sources are to be believed, there could be a thieves gang active in the area, which the police has failed to trace-out after putting their stern efforts.
It is to mention that, burglars had struck in the house of a bank employee in the same locality yesterday and decamped with cash, gold and silver ornaments.
However, police claimed to have obtained clues about the persons involved in the theft case at bank employee’s house, but no arrest has been made till last reports were compiled today.
