JAMMU, Feb 21: Thieves struck another shop in Jewel Chowk area here and decamped with car accessories worth lakhs and Rs 30-40000 in cash.

Earlier, they targeted two shops on different occasions in the same area and stole valuables worth lakhs.
According to Jia Lal, owner of Super Decorators Car Accessories, the recent incident happened on the intervening night of February 20-21, when thieves barged into their property and decamped with costly speakers and stereos of Sony Company along with Rs 30-40000 cash.
He said the CCTVs of the shop were not functional when the incident happened as the area was under dark due to a six-hour-long power cut.
On the complaint of the victim, a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation taken up.
