JAMMU, Feb 7: Thieves continued to unleash an atmosphere of fear in Jammu as they committed three more thefts in the city.
In one of the incidents, an e-rickshaw belonging to one Ramesh Kumar was stolen from New Plot area on the intervening nights of February 6-7.
Kumar claimed that he parked his three-wheeler outside his residence around 10 pm on February 6 and found it stolen the next morning around 5 am.
In another incident, an Alto car (JK02X-9414) belonging to one Sunny Kumar Bhardwaj was stolen from a parking facility near Smart Bazar near Dogra Chowk area.
Bhardwaj claimed that he parked his vehicle in the facility on February 4th and found it missing on February 6.
On checking the CCTV footage, Bhardwaj found that the vehicle was stolen on the intervening nights of February 4-5th by unidentified people.
Meanwhile, a WagonR car (JK02W-7887) belonging to one Saurabh was stolen from Nai Basti area.
Saurabh also parked his vehicle in a parking facility near his house on February 4th and found it missing on February 6th.
On checking the CCTV footage, he too claimed that his vehicle was stolen on the intervening nights of February 4-5th by two unidentified individuals.
Police have registered cases under the relevant sections of the law in all the three incidents and started further investigations into the matter.
