KATHUA, Apr 14: Thieves made futile attempt to loot J&K Bank at Barnoti, falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua police station.
As per police sources, the protection wall of J&K Bank at Barnoti was found damaged by some unidentified persons.
After getting information, a team from Kathua police station rushed to the spot and on verification, it was found that the vain attempt was made by thieves as all the items and cash were found intact.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kathua police station and investigation started.
