JAMMU, Aug 17: It a shocking incident, some thieves entered into a Police Hospital inside District Police Lines (DPL) here and decamped with gold chain weighing around 8 grams and Rs 9,000 cash from the purse of a lady doctor.
As per police sources, an application from SDPO City South Jammu on the behalf of complainant Dr Gurmeet Kour, at present Police Hospital Jammu was received at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, in which the doctor mentioned that during the intervening night of August 13 and 14, some unknown person entered into Police Hospital inside DPL Jammu and stole away gold chain weighing 8 tolas and Rs 9,000 cash from her purse.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 230/2021 under Section 380 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
