JAMMU, June 23: In yet another daylight robbery, unidentified thieves struck a house in Gorkha Nagar locality here falling under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and decamped with gold worth Rs 10 lakh and cash. The incident happened on Sunday when owner of the house, Soba, wife of late Prem Bahadur of Gorkha Nagar, was not present in her house as she had an appointment with a doctor.
According to the victim, the thieves broke into her house during this period and decamped with gold worth around Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15000 in cash. Acting on the victim’s complaint, police have registered a case FIR n umber 36/2025 under sections 331 (house trespass), and 305 (theft) of the BNS at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and started further investigation into the matter.
No arrest has been made in the case so far.
