JAMMU, Apr 15: Unidentified thieves struck a house in Gorkha Nagar area here and decamped with five tolas of gold and Rs 60000 cash.
The incident happened when family members of Khajan Chand of Gorkha Nagar were out of their home.
Taking benefit of the situation, some unidentified thieves barged into his house and committed the theft, by stealing 5 tolas of gold, 2 tolas of silver and Rs 60000 in cash.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter by registering a case under the relevant sections of the law and started further investigation into the matter.
