JAMMU, June 19: Unidentified thieves struck another house in Sanjay Nagar area here and decamped with 12-13 tolas of gold worth lakhs.
The incident occurred on the intervening night of June 17-18 when owner of the house, Anil Saini, a resident of Sector 4, Sanjay Nagar, Jammu, was in Srinagar for some work.
Thieves, who were keeping a close watch on the house, took advantage of the situation, and broke opened the doors of the house to conduct the heist.
Acting on the complaint of owner’s wife Ritu Saini, police have registered a case FIR number 133/2025 under sections 331(2, 4)/305 BNS at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and started further investigation into the matter.
