JAMMU, Nov 4: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jhajjar Kotli area today claimed they have arrested one individual and recovered stolen property worth Rs 4 lakh from his possession.
Acting swiftly on reliable information, a special team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO concern, Inspector Vikas Dogra apprehended one Sultan Mohammad alias Kaka of Domail Badola, who was wanted in case FIR number 125/2025 under section 303(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), a police official said.
He said during sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in several thefts including the one registered under FIR number 125/2025, leading to the recovery of stolen goods including iron plates, iron pipes, shuttering plates, and a cutter machine, collectively valued at Rs 4 lakh.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, he added.
