RAJOURI, Jan 20: The police arrested a thief and recovered some stolen money from his possession in Kandi/Kotranka area today.
Official sources said that a team from Police Station Kandi led by SHO Kandi Rajveer Singh achieved a major breakthrough in connection with FIR No. 05/2026.
During the course of investigation the accused Barket Hussain, son of Maneer Hussain, resident of Hubbi, in Tehsil Koteranka was arrested. On the disclosure of the accused the stolen money has been recovered.
Further investigation is in progress to unearth all aspects of the case and to check whether any other persons are involved.
