JAMMU, Feb 16: A thief has been arrested and stolen properties recovered from his possession by police in Janipur area here.
A police official said on February 13, one Sushma Devi wife of Subash Singh Manhas lodged a written complaint with Police Station Janipur regarding theft at their residence.
On this, he said, a case FIR number 20/2025 under sections 331(3)/305 BNS was registered at Police Station Janipur and further investigation taken up by ASI Mohi Din.
During the course of investigation, the police official said, one Ketan Singh of Dhok Paloura, Jammu was arrested by the police and on his disclosure, the stolen items were recovered from his possession.
