JAMMU, July 12: Miran Sahib Police today arrested a thief and recovered stolen cash from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, Mohit Lal, son of Shiv Naryan of Pum Kalyan, Bihar, at present Krishna Nagar, Miran Sahib lodged a complaint with Miran Sahib Police Station that Mohan Lal, son of Kamlesh Shri Manel of Purni, Bihar, at present Krishna Nagar had stolen Rs 19,500.
Acting swiftly, Miran Sahib Police arrested the thief from Railway Station Jammu, when he was about to fled, he said, adding that the stolen cash was also recovered from his possession.
A case under FIR number 75/13 under Section 380 RPC has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
