REASI, Mar 24: Bhawan Police arrested a thief and recovered 7 stolen mobile phones including Apple iphone 11.
As per police sources, during investigation of a case registered under FIR Number 1/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC, a team from Police Station Bhawan arrested a thief, who was identified as Shashi Sharma, son of Bhushan Lal of Akhli, Katra, District Reasi.
On his disclosure, 7 stolen mobile phones including Apple iphone 11 were recovered which he hides in his house at Akhli, Katra. The total approximately cost of recovered mobile phone is Rs 2,26,000.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Bhawan Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Nikhil Rasgotra, SP Katra Amit Bhasin and SSP Reasi Shailender Singh.
