REASI, Mar 11: Reasi Police solved a theft case and arrested the accused besides recovering the stolen property.
The theft of tyres had taken place at the shop of Sanjay Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Talwara on March 7. A case under FIR No. 40/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS was registered in this regard at Police Station Reasi.
Through relentless efforts and the use of technical assistance, the police apprehended the accused Sanjay Kumar son of Vakeelu of Goswan, Gran Morh, Reasi. During questioning, he confessed to his involvement in the theft, leading to the recovery of the stolen tyres.
The entire operation was led by SHO Reasi, Insp Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the close supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Reasi, Vishal Singh Jamwal.
