SAMBA, Apr 1: The District Police Samba has worked out a theft case by arresting two thieves and recovering stolen items from their possession.
“On 30-01-2024, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Ramgarh by Joginder Singh son of Qabila Singh and three others, all from village Gho Rakwalan (tehsil Ramgarh, district Samba), regarding theft of water pumps from their agriculture fields at village Gho Rakwalan by some unknown persons,” a police spokesman said.
He said acting on the complaint, a case FIR Number 10/2024 U/S 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Ramgarh and investigation started. “During the course of investigation, police arrested two accused namely Rahul Kundan son of Jagdutt resident of Kothey Maley (Arnia, district Jammu) and Jatin Basin alias Shubi son of Rattan Lal, resident of Rathane (RS Pura, Jammu) after hectic efforts,” he further added.
The spokesman said on their disclosure, 4 stolen water pumps were recovered. Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
