Theft case worked out: Police

JAMMU, Sept 13: With the arrest of one person and recovery of a stolen two-wheeler from his possession, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pacca Danga area today claimed to worked out a theft cases registered at the police station.
A police official said on August 28, a case FIR number 97/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga after a complainant alleged theft of his scooty (JK02DC-7737).
Post registration of the FIR, he said, a team of Police Station Pacca Danga under the supervision of SP North and SDPO North, and headed by SHO Pacca Danga, Inspector Rakesh Mani, with the assistance of incharge Police Post Parade, PSI Ankush Sharma, apprehended a suspect, identified as Aman Deep Singh, a resident of Mastgarh, Peer Mitha, Jammu.
Based on his disclosure, the stolen scooty was recovered from his possession, he said, adding that the further investigation into the case is underway.
