Theft case worked out in Samba

SAMBA, Jan 15: Police in Samba district claimed to have worked out a theft case by arresting one person and recovering the stolen cash from his possession.
A police official said that a complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by one Sanjay Gupta son of Om Parkash of Chak Manga, Samba, regarding theft of Rs 18000 from his godown.
Acting on the complaint, he said, a case FIR number 13/2025 under section 305 BNS was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation taken up.
During the course of investigation, a team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO concerned under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Varinder Manhas arrested the accused Mithilesh Singh of Peeper Panti Bihar at present Samba and recovered the stolen cash from his possession.
