Theft case solved, stolen goods recovered

UDHAMPUR, Aug 6: The police solved a theft case after the arrest of the accused and recovered stolen goods/articles worth over rupees four lakhs.
Reports said the police received a written complaint at Police Station, Udhampur from Ishan Koushal, son of Mahesh Kumar, resident of 462, Channi Himmat, Jammu, stating that unknown people committed theft at his clinic during the intervening night of August 4-5, 2025 and stolen goods/ items worth more than four lakhs. .
Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case was registered under relevant sections of law and investigation was taken up. During investigation, the police team from Police Station Udhampur led by SHO, Raghubir Singh apprehended one person who was identified as- Rahul Sharma @Kewal, son of Hans Raj, resident of Ward No. 17, near Santoshi Mata Mandir, Udhampur.
Upon his disclosure, stolen medicines (Buprenorphine) worth over Rs 4,00,000 were recovered. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
